Love the swing. We had a hard time starting off the assembly as the holes did not line up. Once we got past that it went smoothly. I love to sit in it with my morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

I absolutely love this swing! I kept looking at it vs other less expensive swings because I knew I was putting it outside, but I am so glad I got it. It looks fabulous and I was even able to put it together myself!! I added a cushion and spend alot of time in the backyard with the cat rocking in the swing while I read! Now that I have it, my only regret is not getting it sooner!!

Cypress has a natural preservative oil known as cypressene, which gives the wood natural resistance to insects and decay. With a suitable surface treatment, cypress wood offers superior durability, holding paint well and resisting weather.
Why does the Cottage Classic collection use an acrylic color stain instead of paint?
Plain and simple…because an acrylic color stain lasts longer. Paint does effectively seal the wood – temporarily. It's the unpainted areas you can't see that create the problems. Screw holes on the underside of every board, for instance, invite moisture to work its way under the painted surface. With no place for the water to go, the result is rotting wood under the surface. Painted cypress products will begin to deteriorate within two years if left outside in the weather. A water-based or oil-based stain, on the other hand, allows the wood to breathe. Any moisture that gets in can still get out. After the color stain is applied to each Cottage Classic piece, it is lightly sanded to create a slightly weathered look. |

Limited Lifetime Warranty
This Limited Lifetime Warranty is given only to the original purchaser (the "Buyer") of this new garden furniture (the "Product"). Richey Industries, Inc. warrants that the Product will be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service as long as the Buyer owns the Product.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
Damage caused by or resulting from shipping, product misuse, abuse, neglect, harmful chemicals, improper assembly or maintenance, or accidents. Normal weathering or wear and tear (Normal weathering is defined as exposure to sunlight and extremes of weather, including atmospheric pollution and acid rain, which may cause any surface to fade or change color, warp, crack, or acquire dirt or stains.)
Damage resulting from the modification of the Product from its original design. Damage to the finish of the Product. Damage resulting from the use of the Product for or in connection with a commercial purpose. (The Product is intended for personal, family, or household purposes only.)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
Keep a sales receipt, canceled check, or payment record to verify your purchase. Maintain the Product in accordance with the specifications provided to you with the Product. Retain a photocopy of all information provided to Richey Industries in connection with a claimed defect in the Product.
CLAIMS PROCEDURE
The duration of this warranty is limited to claims arising and made in writing to Richey Industries during the period that Buyer owns the Product. To report a warranty claim, the Buyer must either call the telephone number below or send a letter or email to the address below. The Buyer must also provide proof of purchase, a photograph of the defective Product, and an explanation of the claimed defect. Richey Industries will either repair or replace the Product or replace the defective part or portion of the Product, at the option of Richey Industries. Richey Industries reserves the right to discontinue or make changes to the Product. If a Product covered by this warranty is not available, Richey Industries will have the right to substitute a product, that in Richey Industries' sole discretion, is of equal or greater quality and similar appearance.
Any Product returned to Richey Industries without prior written authorization will not be accepted, and Buyer must pay the shipping costs.
This warranty extends only to the Buyer of the Product; this warranty will automatically terminate upon any sale of transfer of the Product by the Buyer
IN NO EVENT WILL RICHEY INDUSTRIES BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF BUYER. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

Curb-side delivery
All deliveries are curb side only unless previously agreed.
Curb-side delivery is performed to avoid any possible damage that may occur while unloading and moving the product from the delivery truck to your home. All of our products are securely packed using foam, cardboard and shrink wrap as they travel directly from the warehouse. It would be very unfortunate, if the small trip between the delivery truck and your home, the product pieces are subjected to unnecessary damage. Curb-side delivery is highly beneficial for the consumer, as the consumer himself can take the effort and time to appropriately maneuver the product inside the home without any risk of a rushed delivery being performed by the freight delivery company.
Every product on our site has an estimated lead time – the number of business days it takes for an item to be processed and prepared for shipment at the warehouse. To provide you with the greatest selection on the internet, we ship from warehouses all over the country. Each lead time varies based on many different factors. Some warehouses stock items that can be shipped the same day or within 24 hours. Others items require a longer time (e.g. 2-4 weeks). Each product listing includes the estimated lead time below the product name: "Usually ships in XXX" to give you an idea how quickly your order will leave the warehouse. Delivery usually takes between 3 and 10 days from when your order ships. For residential deliveries, you will be contacted for an appointment as soon as your order arrives at the local terminal. For commercial deliveries, no appointment will be made. If you need to make one, please contact us.
The most important thing to remember about curb-side delivery is that you must inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the box has any missing items or damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about delivery, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED or PRODUCT MISSING" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any missing/damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem. If you have already accepted the package and find that parts are missing or damaged, please contact us right away as speed matters since most carriers only let us file freight claims within 48 hours of delivery. |
