I found a similar glider that was wood which was half the price but I have recycled plastic adirondack chairs that are now 15 years old and are in the same shape they were the day I bought them without any maintenance whatsoever. It is well worth the increased cost to have a product that is durable, beautiful, and maintenance free. Its very comfortable and glides easily!

The most important thing to my wife and I was that is glides smoothly. Our last glider almost felt like you were going over a speed bump. This one does the job and I am curious to see if we ever need to take them up on the Lifetime Guarantee. Pleased.

Happy w/ purchase, but expensive

So every once in a while I will splurge on a product and this was one of them. I wanted something that would last and saw Great American Woodies had a Lifetime Guarantee. I did realize this glider was almost $100 more than any comparable wood one. The quality of construction and material is well worth the price. They say recycled plastic will last forever, so we will see, but so far I am very happy with the purchase. I gave it 3 stars for price, because I would like to purchase another but will have to wait.

Recycled poly lumber is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic derived from post-consumer waste such as milk jugs and plastic packaging that would otherwise end up in a landfill. This material is then cleaned in a decontamination process to a high purity level. This purified recycled plastic is formulated with Ultra-Violet (UV) stabilizers and color pigments, and then formed into various shapes and profiles used to create environmentally friendly, maintenance-free pieces of furniture that will not fade. Available in a selection of beautiful fade-resistant colors, recycled poly lumber furniture has a wood-like grain and look. Incredibly strong and durable, recycled poly lumber is solid plastic all the way through with no wood fillers. |

Limited Lifetime Warranty
This Limited Lifetime Warranty is given only to the original purchaser (the "Buyer") of this new garden furniture (the "Product"). Richey Industries, Inc. warrants that the Product will be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service as long as the Buyer owns the Product.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
Damage caused by or resulting from shipping, product misuse, abuse, neglect, harmful chemicals, improper assembly or maintenance, or accidents. Normal weathering or wear and tear (Normal weathering is defined as exposure to sunlight and extremes of weather, including atmospheric pollution and acid rain, which may cause any surface to fade or change color, warp, crack, or acquire dirt or stains.)
Damage resulting from the modification of the Product from its original design. Damage to the finish of the Product. Damage resulting from the use of the Product for or in connection with a commercial purpose. (The Product is intended for personal, family, or household purposes only.)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
Keep a sales receipt, canceled check, or payment record to verify your purchase. Maintain the Product in accordance with the specifications provided to you with the Product. Retain a photocopy of all information provided to Richey Industries in connection with a claimed defect in the Product.
CLAIMS PROCEDURE
The duration of this warranty is limited to claims arising and made in writing to Richey Industries during the period that Buyer owns the Product. To report a warranty claim, the Buyer must either call the telephone number below or send a letter or email to the address below. The Buyer must also provide proof of purchase, a photograph of the defective Product, and an explanation of the claimed defect. Richey Industries will either repair or replace the Product or replace the defective part or portion of the Product, at the option of Richey Industries. Richey Industries reserves the right to discontinue or make changes to the Product. If a Product covered by this warranty is not available, Richey Industries will have the right to substitute a product, that in Richey Industries' sole discretion, is of equal or greater quality and similar appearance.
Any Product returned to Richey Industries without prior written authorization will not be accepted, and Buyer must pay the shipping costs.
This warranty extends only to the Buyer of the Product; this warranty will automatically terminate upon any sale of transfer of the Product by the Buyer
IN NO EVENT WILL RICHEY INDUSTRIES BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF BUYER. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

Common Carrier
This product ships via ground with common carriers like UPS, FedEx, DHL or USPS.
Every product on our site has an estimated lead time – the number of business days it takes for an item to be processed and prepared for shipment at the warehouse. To provide you with the greatest selection on the internet, we ship from warehouses all over the country. Each lead time varies based on many different factors. Some warehouses stock items that can be shipped the same day or within 24 hours. Others items require a longer time (e.g. 2-4 weeks).
