While some patio sets are affordable, some are extremely expensive, for a good reason. There are patio sets that are so luxurious, plush and comfortable, that they would make your patio look like a 5-star hotel. They normally come with oversized deep seating chairs and sofas, with enormous plush cushions. The cushions are work or art as well: they are filled with ‘memory foam’, that perfectly forms around our body to provide unparallel comfort. Cushion covers are made of gorgeous luxurious outdoor fabrics that are sun, weather and stain resistant. Fortunately, we do not have to be millionaires to enjoy a nice patio set. There are wonderful sets made of treated pine, natural or painted attractive summer colors. Teak patio sets are more expensive, because teak is becoming rare. Wicker patio sets are still among the most popular, because they are in the same time traditional, comfortable and beautiful. Modern wicker patio sets are made of wire frame wrapped in paper or plastic, for increased durability. Wrought iron patio sets are also popular and never go out of fashion. Wrought iron is more suitable for dining sets, but there are loungers’ sets made of wrought iron as well. Patio sets come with five or seven pieces and it is up to you to decide how much space you have for your patio furniture. You like to offer your family and friends comfortable outdoor seating, but you do not want your patio to look like a furniture show room. There should be enough space for kids and pets to run around and for a few colorful planters full of seasonal bloom. |
